Smokjoy Mushroom Cloud RDA

A unique POM drip-tip helps this stylish SmokJoy Mushroom Cloud RDA to stand apart from other drippers. On the outside, the Mushroom Cloud dripper looks smooth and sleek: on the inside there’s a precision engineered dual post build deck with optimised ‘scooped’ airflow. This dual coil RDA needs 24mm of space to fit on a regulated or mechanical mod without overhang.

POM is a type of Delrin that is often used in hi-tech engineering applications. The material is strong and light, with exceptional heat insulating properties. SmokJoy have used this amazing material to mould the Mushroom Cloud RDA’s distinctive drip-tip. As well as giving the dripper an attention-grabbing look, POM also delivers a cool, comfortable vape. Though the POM drip-tip has a bore that’s wide enough for dripping, it’s easily removable if you feel that you need direct access to the top of the build deck.

Many experienced DIY coil builders will be very familiar with the layout of the Mushroom Cloud’s gold-plated build deck. The design is incredibly spacious, with two rectangular posts supporting dual coil builds. Each post is drilled with two terminal holes in a side-by-side arrangement. The Mushroom Cloud RDA comes with a handy 3-way tool to tighten up the flat-headed post screws.

Like many of the best modern rebuildable dripping atomizers, the Mushroom Cloud RDA features two 45º ‘scoops’ to force incoming air directly onto the sides of each coil. Airflow is adjustable, but committed cloud chasers will probably opt for a wide-open setting.

In the Mushroom Cloud RDA’s spares bag you’ll find two pre-wound coils, spare grub screws and two additional O rings. You’ll notice that the RDA’s ‘MC’ engraved sleeve is sealed by widely spaced, doubled O rings. This helps to prevent the sleeve from being accidentally knocked out of position while you vape. The Mushroom Cloud dripper kit doesn’t come with organic cotton. You’ll need to use your own favourite cotton to vape with this deep-welled dripper.

Mushroom Cloud RTA Compatibility:
The Mushroom Cloud RTA has a base diameter of 24mm. Though this is a great RDA for 510 compatible regulated and mechanical mods, the flat positive pin design is not suitable for Hybrid mods. This rebuildable dripping atomizer is only suitable for experienced vapers with knowledge of Ohm’s law, battery and coil wire safety.
